The 2021 NBA Summer League has been in full swing now for a few days and while there were a ton of games on both Sunday and Monday, there were only a total of six games on Tuesday. However, each of these six games were pretty eventful with some spectacular performances from some of the young talents in the NBA.

Day 3 began in the afternoon with the Hawks taking on the Pacers, a game that featured four first-round picks from this year’s draft in Jalen Johnson (Hawks), Chris Duarte (Pacers), Sharife Coopers (Hawks) and Isaiah Jackson (Pacers).

Atlanta came away with the victory, but it took a Sharife Cooper buzzer-beating three-pointer for them to get the win, resulting in Trae Young running out on the court to celebrate with the Hawks’ rookie before being yelled at to get off the court. That’s right, not even the league’s brightest stars are allowed on these courts!

As the day went on, the Celtics put on a show against the Nuggets, Chicago handed San Antonio their second loss in as many days and then the premier event began around 6 p.m. local time in Las Vegas. Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons took on Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets, a battle of the heavyweights with the No. 1 and No. 2 picks in this year’s draft.
