Does this trade make sense for the Los Angeles Clippers?
The point guard position is one of the reasons that the Clippers have been unable to reach their goal over the first two years with their new regime. Kawhi Leonard getting hurt this season did not help but they still lacked depth at the top of the offense.
Even with Reggie Jackson returning on a new contract, the Clippers should not shy away from a trade for Rozier. Both players could slot in alongside each other in the backcourt and provide Paul George with needed offensive firepower while Kawhi Leonard is sidelined. Having either Jackson or Rozier come off-the-bench is another potential option as well.
Rozier is a score-first guard who can also get his teammates involved. He would have plenty of room to operate with opposing defenses focused on Leonard and George.
When looking at the other teams in the Western Conference, they are all set at the point guard position. Russell Westbrook is now with the Los Angeles Lakers. Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray, when healthy, also come to mind immediately. This is something that the Clippers do not have and should be looking for.

Los Angeles is going to be one of the top teams in the league once again next season. That notion can be taken to the next level, and potentially to the NBA Finals, if they solidify their point guard situation.
