New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Ben Simmons, 2023 first-round pick (most favorable)
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: Brandon Ingram, Kira Lewis Jr., 2023 first-round pick (least favorable)
All of the reports coming out of Philadelphia make it seem as if the 76ers are asking for an expensive package for Ben Simmons.
Altogether, Philadelphia seemingly wants an All-Star caliber player and multiple first-round picks for them to offload the LSU product.
However, if the 76ers want to move on from Simmons, they’ll need to lower their asking price. In doing business with New Orleans, Williamson is obviously off-limits, but Philadelphia might be able to pry away Brandon Ingram.
Along with Ingram, the Pelicans would be sending Kira Lewis Jr. and a first-round pick swap that gives New Orleans the better pick.

Ingram helps match the money in Simmons’ deal, and he’s under contract through the 2024-25 season as he’s due $130.8 million in the next four years.
Lewis is still on his rookie contract, so he’s thrown in as another piece that could entice Philadelphia to send Simmons to New Orleans.
