Dallas Mavericks
The clock is ticking for the Dallas Mavericks to show Luka Doncic that they are doing everything in their power to build a contending roster.
The Mavericks have had a nice start to free agency by being able to retain Tim Hardaway Jr. and Boban Marjanovic, along with inking deals with Reggie Bullock and Sterling Brown.
Despite the rumors of Kristaps Porzingis possibly being dealt in a trade this NBA offseason, it seems as if he’ll get one more season with the Mavericks.
In my personal opinion, it’s time for the Mavericks to move on from Porzingis, and Pascal Siakam would be an ideal replacement for the Latvian big man.
While Siakam wouldn’t bring the rim protection that Porzingis can bring at times, he makes it up for it with his other skills on both sides of the court.

I’ve been on board with the idea of Siakam being paired with Doncic, and even though the Mavericks seem content with Porzingis getting one more crack at proving his worth, Siakam would be an upgrade at the power forward position.
