Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are one of those teams in the NBA that seem just one or two pieces away from being a legitimate contender in the league.

Nikola Jokic is the reigning MVP in the NBA, and Jamal Murray continues to blossom into a fine point guard, but Murray won’t be available to start next season.

Seeing that this Nuggets team has been hesitant to commit to Michael Porter Jr. up to this point, making a move for Siakam could be in the cards.

Siakam would fit nicely alongside Jokic, giving the Nuggets a power forward that can space the floor. While he shot just 29.7 percent from deep in 2020-21, Siakam is still a capable scorer from outside.

What makes him an intriguing piece for the Nuggets is his ability to score and create for others, creating mismatches on the offensive end.

Siakam also isn’t too shabby on the defensive end, which fits Mike Malone’s mantra of playing formidable team defense.
