2. Heading Coaching Issues
Since joining the Indiana Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon has been very vocal about the head coaching situations. Brogdon was critical of both head coaches he has had during his two seasons with the Pacers in Nate McMillan and Nate Bjorkgren.
Brogdon did not like how the team played under McMillan, who opted for a slower pace based on the team’s roster.
While he has said he would have preferred to play an up-tempo style of play, the roster wasn’t constructed in a way to do that. Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis and the team’s first-round pick of Giga Bitadze dictated how he would have his team play.
Things did not get better with Bjorkgren. Brogdon, along with the team’s All-Star Sabonis, both believed that he should be fired given the team’s performance during the season.

Rick Carlisle is back as head coach. Could Brogdon butt heads with him as well? It is something the Pacers probably shouldn’t wait to find out.
