Memphis Grizzlies
Ahead of the 2021 NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies completed a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, sending Jonas Valanciunas and two picks in exchange for Eric Bledsoe, Steven Adams, and two picks.
While Adams is expected to remain with the Grizzlies, it remains to be seen if Bledsoe wants to play in Memphis. With the Grizzlies needing an efficient shooter next to Ja Morant in the backcourt, Buddy Hield would be a valuable commodity for them.
It would be a mistake for the Grizzlies to move forward with Bledsoe as their starting shooting guard next season.
Memphis has yet to make any moves in free agency, and after sneaking into the playoffs this season, they need to bolster their roster to keep up with the other teams in the Western Conference.

Even though it could lead to a buyout or another trade, maybe Bledsoe could be involved in a trade for Hield. Adding Hield would allow Desmond Bane to give Memphis shooting off of their bench and give the young guard a premier shooter to learn from.
