Does this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?
The Sacramento Kings are heading in a certain direction and Buddy Hield might not be part of the plan. What exactly is that direction? Well, it’s unknown to this point. The Kings have been one of the worst teams in the league for years now and they need to rebuild this roster once again.
Sacramento might have waited too long to trade Hield. At this point, it is unknown what the market is on him but sending him away for anything is better than nothing.
This trade would get his contract off the books while adding some short term options that would not put them in a bad position moving forward.
De’Aaron Fox is the piece to build around and the Kings could load up on assets that could be moved in another trade,and maybe want to potentially get Fox some more help in the backcourt.

The Kings are still years away from competing in a very difficult Eastern Conference. The front office has their work cut out for them and will be interesting to see which direction they take away forward.
