2. Ben Simmons To Golden State Warriors

The Philadelphia 76ers are in quite a predicament. Their point guard, Ben Simmons, struggled mightily again during the postseason, prompting some people to believe he will be traded. Comments by head coach Doc Rivers and Joel Embiid following their elimination from the postseason made it seem like the relationship was too far gone.

Well, the relationship certainly looks irreparable, as Simmons is no longer in contact with the organization and everything goes through his agent, Rich Paul.

That is an interesting way to go about handling things, but it sounds like Simmons and the 76ers will part ways this offseason. For that to happen, Philadelphia has to lower their demands, as no team was going to meet them, especially after his playoff performance.

This is something that could drag out, but landing with the Golden State Warriors would be a spot we’d love to see Simmons end up. Playing more of a wing/frontcourt role is something that would be intriguing, as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have the backcourt spots on lockdown.
