3. Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder are still collecting assets at a rapid rate. Sam Presti acquired three more future first-round picks already this offseason, adding to their already incredible cachet of draft picks.
Eventually, the Thunder are going to have to try building up their roster and winning some games. They signed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to a massive extension this offseason, so maybe the roster upgrading begins now.
The Thunder have been using cap space in recent years to take on bad contracts along with draft compensation. If Dallas wants to get out from under the contract of Kristaps Porzingis, the Thunder should be one interested team.
Many of the contracts that the Thunder have taken on have been for veterans that they either buy out or flip again later. Porzingis is one veteran that Oklahoma City can use to help start building a winning culture again within the organization.

Porzingis would provide the Thunder with a second scoring option to go along with Gilgeous-Alexander. His 3-point shooting would be a major upgrade for a Thunder team that finished 29th in 3-point percentage last season at a paltry 33.9 percent on 35.1 attempts per game. Porzingis’s 36.1 percent is a major upgrade on 29.4 percent of Isiah Roby and 29 percent of Darius Bazley.
