1. Plays At Least 70 Games

Durability was never really an issue for Kemba Walker during his time with Charlotte. He played in every game the first two seasons of his career and played in at least 80 games three more times. The 2013-14 season was the only one that he missed double-digit games in before he signed with the Boston Celtics.

During his tenure with the Boston Celtics, health became a major issue for Kemba Walker. He dealt with knee issues, playing in only 56 games during the 2019-20 season and 43 this past season.

He battled through the knee issues, playing all 17 games of the postseason in the Orlando Bubble. But he missed the first 11 games of the 2020-21 season recovering from an offseason knee operation. He sporadically missed games throughout the season for maintenance as well.

Walker will be able to put those injuries behind him and return to good health with the Knicks. He will play in at least 70 games this season as the team’s starting point guard.
