2. Averages Over 20 Points Per Game
The New York Knicks are going to have a much-improved offense during the 2021-22 season. In Tom Thibodeau’s first season at the helm, they finished 23rd in offensive rating, too often relying on Julius Randle or RJ Barrett to bail them out of a tough spot.
While those two can still be the go-to options for the team this season, they will be getting a lot more help. A full season of Derrick Rose coming off the bench with Alec Burks and Immanuel Quickley will certainly help things. In the starting lineup, Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker are two more shot creators the team lacked last season.
With so many other talents around him, Walker will get back to scoring 20 points per game this season. He won’t have to carry an offense as he did in Charlotte with the Bobcats and Hornets, so his volume won’t be as great.
But, he did it once with the Boston Celtics as the third option behind Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and he will do it again with the Knicks.

Walker will have a very efficient season as opposing teams will not be able to key in on him defensively. They will be more preoccupied with trying to slow down Randle near the basket, leaving plenty of chances for Walker to take advantage and score the basketball.
