Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are in an interesting spot this offseason following the decision to hire Ime Udoka as their next head coach.
The Celtics have a dynamic duo in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to build around, which is more than a lot of teams in the NBA can say they have. But after trading Kemba Walker in exchange for Al Horford, the Boston Celtics are in need of a new face at point guard next season.
I don’t believe Payton Pritchard is starting material just yet — or if he ever will be — and the Boston Celtics could use a point guard that serves as the third-scoring option on the team.
And seeing that Walker didn’t fit, partly due to needing the ball to be effective, the Boston Celtics would benefit from adding someone who can be a spot-up shooter at times.

In recent years, Derrick Rose has become a much-improved spot-up shooter from beyond the arc and would improve the spacing in Boston’s lineup.
