Miami Heat
Ahead of this year’s NBA trade deadline, there were reports that the Miami Heat were close to making a move for Derrick Rose before the Knicks acquired him via trade.
Seeing how Miami’s season came to a close, it’s safe to say that having Rose definitely would have helped them in the playoffs. After missing out on him at the trade deadline, the Miami Heat could pursue the experienced point guard this summer.
Both Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo have been working overtime it seems like on most nights as they are tasked with doing nearly everything for the team.
Goran Dragic has had health issues in recent years and he has failed to show consistency when he is on the floor. Regardless of whether or not the team picks up Dragic’s team option, Rose would make sense as a starter for the Miami Heat.

Being able to get Rose and a star player to pair with Butler and Adebayo would be a fantastic way for Miami to position themselves as a contender in the Eastern Conference again.
