New Orleans Pelicans Receive: G Lonzo Ball (sign-and-trade)
Chicago Bulls Receive: G Coby White, G Tomas Satoransky, F Al-Farouq Aminu and No. 38 pick
Lonzo Ball would be the centerpiece of this deal going back to the New Orleans Pelicans. He would have to agree to a deal with the Chicago Bulls and then be sent away after the sign-and-trade.
This would benefit both sides in different ways and give them the fresh starts that they could be looking for. Much like Ball, Coby White is also in a situation where a change of scenery could make a lot of sense.
It’s no secret the Bulls will be aggressive in their pursuit of a point guard this offseason. The team does not view White as the answer in the starting backcourt but the skill-set that Ball brings to the table could certainly be what they are seeking.
As for the return, New Orleans we get a replacement point guard in Coby White. They would also add Al-Farouq Aminu and the 38th pick in the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft.

Of course, this is a trade scenario that would require the Bulls to have Lonzo Ball actually want to sign with them in free agency. The Pelicans would then get to decide if they want to match the offer or facilitate a sign-and-trade deal to land some value in return.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Lonzo Ball would impact both the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans.
