Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks would make for an intriguing landing spot for Victor Oladipo. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Josh Richardson are both entering NBA free agency this summer, which could leave Dallas with a huge hole to fill at the shooting guard position.
While Oladipo wouldn’t be able to help the Mavericks right away, he would bring a lot to the table that the team is lacking.
The Mavericks need a lot of help defensively and Oladipo can get it done on that end of the court. He has the size and athleticism to defend both backcourt spots and can even defend some wing players in certain situations.
Oladipo would also give Dallas another capable playmaker and shot creator alongside Luka Doncic. Outside of Hardaway Jr. Dallas didn’t have many players that could get their own shot; when healthy Oladipo has proven he can do that.

Even if Hardaway Jr. is re-signed, the Dallas Mavericks would be a good landing spot for Oladipo. He won’t be rushed back into action and could be eased in as the third or even fourth option on the team.
