Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers would be an excellent landing spot for Victor Oladipo. They are one of the few teams in the NBA who could sign him and wait as long as he needs to get to 100 percent healthy. As long as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are healthy, the Lakers would be just fine.
On the court, Oladipo is a strong fit alongside that dynamic duo as well. While not the best 3-point shooter in the league, Oladipo is good enough to keep opposing teams honest. He would also not be the main focus of the opposing team’s game plans, which should make things easier for him.
He would also give the Lakers another strong wing defender, taking even more pressure off of James on that end of the court. Oladipo has also proven to be an adept playmaker, giving the Lakers another facilitator in the lineup alongside LeBron.
With Los Angeles, Oladipo would be afforded the chance to play pressure-free basketball. It would be clear who the top options are and he would make for a strong third in this scenario. A lineup of Davis, LeBron, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Oladipo and whoever the team gets to play point guard would be potent on both ends of the court.

While the injury was unfortunate, the Lakers should look to take advantage, giving Oladipo a chance to rehab his value before hitting NBA free agency again next summer.
