New York Knicks
The New York Knicks had a great 2020-21 season, the first with Tom Thibodeau as head coach. The team was so successful because of the way that they played defense. New York bought into Thibodeau’s system and it resulted in a lot of wins.
This offseason, the team needs to focus a little more on improving the offense. The Knicks need to modernize their offense. Julius Randle and RJ Barrett were too often stuck trying to make difficult shots. Myles Turner would help them do that.
Pairing a floor-spacing center alongside Rande would open up the Knicks’ offense. Too often last season when he could create opportunities for others, the ball was being kicked out to non-shooters.
We all know the affinity that Thibodeau has for the defensive side of the ball and Turner would only improve them there. His shot-blocking ability would fit in nicely. While he isn’t the strongest rebounder, the Knicks are a strong rebounding team overall.

A package that includes Mitchell Robinson, Kevin Knox and one of the team’s first-round picks this season should interest Indiana. Snagging a second first-rounder this year would give them more ammunition in their pursuit to upgrade the rest of their roster with more veteran players.
