Marvin Bagley III
Things have not gone according to plan for the Sacramento Kings when it comes to Marvin Bagley III. They selected him second overall in 2018, passing on Luka Doncic, to select the Duke product. Hindsight is 20/20, but that selection has been a big miss.
Bagley has battled injuries in his three seasons with the Kings and even when he can get on the court, he leaves a lot to be desired, especially on defense. Now, it sounds like the Kings are ready to move on from Bagley.
Adrian Wojnarowski believes there will be a new home for him on the horizon.
It would make sense for the Thunder to be that next home for Bagley. He has immense talent, which is why he was selected second overall, but things haven’t clicked in Sacramento. This could be a situation where a change of scenery helps get him on track.
