Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are in an interesting spot this offseason following the decision to hire Ime Udoka as their next head coach.
The Celtics have a dynamic duo in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to build around, which is more than a lot of teams in the NBA can say they have. But after trading Kemba Walker in exchange for Al Horford, the Celtics are in need of a new face at point guard next season.
I don’t believe Payton Pritchard is starting material just yet — or if he ever will be — and the Celtics could use a point guard that serves as the third-scoring option on the team.
And seeing that Walker didn’t fit, partly due to needing the ball to be effective, the Celtics would benefit from adding someone who can be a spot-up shooter at times.

In recent years, Derrick Rose has become a much-improved spot-up shooter from beyond the arc and would improve the spacing in Boston’s lineup.
