New York Knicks
Seeing Carmelo Anthony make a return to Madison Square Garden as a member of the New York Knicks again would be an electric scene. Beside the fact of him reuniting with the Knicks, Anthony would be an ideal fit for Tom Thibodeau’s team.
Entering the offseason, both Reggie Bullock and Alec Burks are free agents, creating potential vacancies on the wing for the Knicks. Along with pursuing some of the notable names that are available, the Knicks could land a premier bench contributor in Anthony.
Despite not being the player he was in his first stint with the Knicks, he’s still a player that has averaged 14.3 points per game in the past two seasons.
While the Knicks continue to build a roster that can contend in the Eastern Conference, signing veteran players like Anthony would benefit the growth of the younger players on the roster.

Plus, he’d get a chance to help his former team in chasing a title, which is the ultimate goal for the veteran forward, regardless of where he lands.
