Hurts The Rival Knicks

If the 2020-21 season showed the Miami Heat anything it is that they have some work to do to keep up with the rest of the Eastern Conference.

The Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets are two teams looking to move up. The Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics will be motivated next season after disappointing 2020-21 campaigns. The New York Knicks look like they finally have some stability as well.

Fending off all those teams and catching up to the others will not be an easy thing to accomplish. So, sometimes you have to bring down the other teams in the process.

Signing Derrick Rose away from the Knicks would be a big blow for the team to suffer. Tom Thibodeau loves having Rose on the team and he proved after his acquisition that he can help the team win. New York went 25-10 in the games that Rose suited up for them in the regular season and took over the starting point guard spot during the playoffs.

While the Knicks have a ton of cap space to sign another point guard, Rose is someone they would like to have back in the fold. The Heat improving their roster at the expense of the Knicks’ team would be a shrewd move to make.
