Does this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
Bradley Beal has averaged 30 or more points in each of the last two seasons. This year, he finished second in the league in scoring. He was less than one point behind Stephen Curry for the top spot. Beal is a career 37.7% shooter from beyond the arc and can get it done at all three levels. The fit here is perfect.
The Golden State Warriors are a team that has liked to play fast and get up a lot of shots from deep. That has changed over the last two years because of the personnel but Curry showed that he is still interested in the game plan.
With Klay Thompson back, the Warriors should return to their old ways. This is exactly how Beal can be successful as well. He is a dynamic offensive player that requires a lot of attention from opposing defenses.
Golden State added Kevin Durant after a 72-win season so it would be no surprise to see them make a run at Beal after being out of the postseason for two consecutive years.

The Warriors have a chance to get right back to the top of the Western Conference if they push the right buttons. Getting Thompson back will go a long way and another addition could take them over the top.
