C.J. McCollum

The Portland Trail Blazers could be looking at some major changes this offseason. Whether or not Damian Lillard requests a trade, this is a roster that needs a shake-up.

The Trail Blazers have made the postseason eight consecutive seasons but been eliminated in the first round four of the last five years. Trading C.J. McCollum could be one way to shake up the roster and bring some talent back.

For Portland, Porzings would give them the power forward they have been seeking since Zach Collins cannot stay healthy. Dallas would welcome McCollum as a much-needed sidekick to Doncic.

McCollum averaged a career-high 23.1 points per game this past season and would give Dallas a legitimate second scorer to complement Luka. He would also provide the Dallas Mavericks with more floor spacing, as he is a 39.8 career shooter from the 3-point line.

While McCollum is a scoring guard, he has shown the ability to be a playmaker. Oftentimes when Lillard would go to the bench, McCollum would take over as the team’s point guard. The 4.7 assists per game he averaged this season was also another career-high.
