Phoenix Suns Receive: F Jerami Grant
Detroit Pistons Receive: F Jae Crowder, C/F Jalen Smith, F/C Dario Saric, 2021 first-round pick, and 2023 first-round pick
Jerami Grant has built up plenty of value for himself and this is another reason the Detroit Pistons could look to move him. This comes after many felt as though he was overpaid when he received the three-year, $60 million contract deal he signed in NBA free agency.
The Pistons will get a nice return in any NBA trade scenario that features Grant. The Phoenix Suns have plenty of assets they would be able to send Detroit in order to get a deal done.
It begins with Jae Crowder. He is a veteran option that would bring toughness to Detroit. Jalen Smith and Dario Saric are two other players that would be rotation players with the Pistons. Two first-round picks would round out the deal and this is extremely beneficial to a rebuilding team.
After landing the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, there is a clear pathway for the Pistons to succeed long-term if Cade Cunningham were to pan out as expected. Acquiring as many assets as possible to pull off a successful rebuild should be the top priority for Detroit.

Let’s take a look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Jerami Grant would impact both the Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns.
