Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls have their franchise cornerstones in place with All-Stars Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. Chicago is now tasked with building up the roster around them and the Marcus Smart represents a great complementary piece.
The Bulls need some players that can get after it defensively, as LaVine and Vucevic are more offensive-minded and Smart fits the bill. He would take a lot of pressure off of LaVine from having to not only carry the load offensively but defend the opposing team’s best player as well.
Smart can defend three, sometimes four depending on the matchup, positions, giving Billy Donovan a lot of versatility in his lineup construction with the Bulls.
The Bulls are also in desperate need of a point guard. While not the prototypical table setter, Smart is a capable playmaker and would help Chicago shore that up.

The Bulls want to make a push in the Eastern Conference and Smart would help them do that. His playoff experience would be a great addition to help the younger players along as well.
