Collin Sexton would boost shooting and scoring
The Los Angeles Lakers struggled mightily shooting the ball last season from the 3-point line. They were 21st in the league in 3-point shooting percentage and 25th in 3-point makes per game.
Collin Sexton knocked down 37.1 percent of his 3-pointers last season, which is a career-low. He is a 38.5 percent shooter in his career.
That shooting prowess would be a welcome addition to the starting five, as Dennis Schroder shot only 33.5 percent from the 3-point line. Sexton is a legitimate scoring guard that would give Los Angeles the third option behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
The former Alabama product averaged 24.3 points per game and did it rather efficiently, shooting 47.5 percent from the field. While not a pure point guard from a playmaking standpoint, he is good enough to be a second facilitator alongside LeBron James.

Sexton would greatly improve the Lakers’ offense, something they need to accomplish this offseason.
