Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: F Paul George
Los Angeles Clippers Receive: G Collin Sexton, F Larry Nance Jr., F Taurean Prince, No. 3 pick, 2023 first-round pick and 2025 first-round pick
Paul George would be the biggest name in this deal to be moved. He would join Cleveland and give them their next superstar to build around. George put up a strong performance in the postseason and it showed that he still has the ability to lead a team.
Collin Sexton will have to lead the return going back to Los Angeles. He has another big name that has been featured in NBA trade rumors recently. The team is hesitant to pay he and Jarrett Allen both a max contract at the same time.
If the Cavaliers were to engage in an NBA trade scenario where the No. 3 pick gets moved, there would be no hesitation to pay Jarrett Allen. Having complementary players like Darius Garland and Isaac Okoro in addition to Allen would be intriguing.
Larry Nance Jr. and Taurean Prince would round out the players going back. The Cavaliers landed the third-overall pick in this year’s draft and the Clippers would also get that back as a reward.

It wouldn’t be an easy to decision to part with the No. 3 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft given how much talent is among this group. However, being able to land an All-NBA talent alongside young players who are already key building blocks would help the team to take the next step.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Paul George would impact both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers.
