The New Orleans Pelicans might feel some pressure to make a big move in the offseason. They have a dynamic duo in Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram but they do not have many pieces around them. That has caused some disgruntled feelings from Williamson’s family.
If this means anything to New Orleans, they will make a move. This particular move could come on draft night. The Pelicans hold the 10th overall pick in the draft which means they will be in position to land an elite prospect.
The Pelicans have some assets they would be able to offer a team to move up.
New Orleans could be interested in moving into the top five of the draft to grab one of the best players available. There seems to be a clear cut top five when looking at mock drafts. Any of the top prospects would fit well with a team like New Orleans with stars already in place.

The Pelicans have not made any progress in building a contender in recent years. This is something they must do if they want Williamson to commit to the franchise long term.
