Golden State Warriors Receive: Jimmy Butler and Andre Iguodala
Miami Heat Receive: Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, Eric Paschall, No. 7 pick, No. 14 pick and 2026 first-round pick (top-three protected)
Jimmy Butler would be the star going to the Golden State Warriors. It was assumed that the Heat would keep Butler to build around but they also know they could get a huge return for a player of his caliber.
Golden State would also get back Andre Iguodala, who was a fan favorite and the Finals’ MVP in 2015. It would be an intriguing depth addition to help round out the wing rotation while also adding another leader in the locker room that already resonates with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond green.
The Warriors would have to send back a large haul to Miami but they have the assets. Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman will lead the charge. Neither player aligns with a timeline that has the main priority being to win another championship with Stephen Curry.
The Heat would also get a young stud in Eric Paschall, along with three first-round picks, two of which will take place this year in addition to Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman.
