Miami Heat
One team that is going to be extremely aggressive this offseason is the Miami Heat. Following a first-round exit in the playoffs this year, the Heat understand they have to adjust their roster if they want to compete for a title again.
Both Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are the building blocks in Miami, but everyone else is expendable on the roster. With plenty of cap space and a need for another star, the Heat make perfect sense for Kawhi Leonard if he surprises everyone and enters free agency.
The demeanor of Leonard would perfectly resemble what the Heat have in Butler and Adebayo, in players that are focused on nothing but winning a championship. If Adebayo can improve on the offensive end next season, Miami would have three consistent scorers on the floor.
Similar to the Lakers, Leonard wouldn’t need to concern himself with having to be the No. 1 option at all times for the Heat with Butler and Adebayo.

Not to mention, there’s no state tax in Florida, which could entice Leonard to fly across the country.
