Los Angeles Lakers
Let me preface by saying that it is extremely improbable that Kawhi Leonard would choose to go from the Clippers to the Los Angeles Lakers. Leonard would be heavily criticized for joining the inter-city rivals of his former team, which would be stamped on his resume, whether he liked it or not.
Also, there’s the fact that the Lakers don’t have much cap space to sign Kawhi Leonard, making a move for the five-time All-Star nearly impossible. However, we’ve seen some crazy moves happen across the NBA over the years, so I’ve learned to never say never.
For a move to be possible, the Lakers would have to trade some pieces and allow Dennis Schroder to walk to have room for Leonard.
That being said, a trio of Leonard, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis would arguably become the best trio in the league, rivaling the superstar bunch on the Brooklyn Nets.

The fit would be ideal for Leonard as the Lakers are a team that focuses on being an elite team on both ends of the floor. Leonard also wouldn’t have to worry about being the alpha every night with James and Davis also on the court.
