Ben Simmons

The biggest storyline of the offseason might be the situation surrounding Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers. After a disappointing postseason, the Sixers could decide to move their point guard soon.

This has been a long time coming but Philadelphia needs to move on and split up their dynamic duo. Simmons’ inability to shoot has become a problem and the Sixers have not figured out how to solve it.

During a seven-game series against the Atlanta Hawks, Simmons attempted just three shots in the fourth quarter. It is time that the two sides start over and there is still value around Simmons.

A 6-foot-10 guard can fit in well in a scenario where he is used right. In Sacramento, that is next to Fox where he would not have to score as much. Simmons would be able to pass and defend at a high rate.

The Sixers could finally commit to just Embiid and put the right players around him. They began to do this last offseason and could continue. Sending Simmons to Sacramento would help this notion right away.
