Jonathan Isaac

Jonathan Isaac is not the big name that you think might warrant a top pick but that is what could happen here. Isaac has dealt with injury problems since entering the league and he will have to remain healthy for this to work. His ceiling might be high enough for the Kings to take a chance on.

Isaac was a big name coming out of college and ended up being a high draft pick. It has not worked out because of his injury concerns, which could cause the front office to be impatient.

This is more of a roll of the dice for Sacramento compared to other options but it might have the biggest reward attached. Isaac and Fox could be a strong duo to build around for the upcoming years.

The Kings sorely need to improve defensively and Jonathan Isaac could help significantly in this regard. Assuming his mobility isn’t hampered after his injuries, he has the agility to defend at a high-level out in space while having the size and length to protect the rim.

It is all about what players are able to develop and take that step. Isaac could benefit from a change of scenery and the Kings would be able to enjoy it as well.
