Sacramento Kings: 2020-21 Record – 31-41, Last Playoff Appearance: 2006
Target: C Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers)
The Sacramento Kings have posted back-to-back seasons with 31 wins and they have not seen a lot of success through the years, but they have a great backcourt duo in De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton that they are going to look to build around.
While the Kings would like to bring back Richaun Holmes in NBA free agency, there are other teams that are going to be aggressively pursuing the big man, so Sacramento could potentially lose him. If this happens, going after Myles Turner would be a really solid play by them given his impact on both ends of the court.
Turner played in 47 games this year, averaging 12.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and tallying a league-high 3.4 blocks per game. He has turned himself into one of the best defensive centers in the league, which is why he could have a huge impact in Sacramento.
This Kings franchise just needs help at pretty much every other position than at the guard position and without Holmes, they will have a huge hole to fill at the center position.

Trading a guy like Buddy Hield or Harrison Barnes for Myles Turner in the event they lose Holmes gives the Kings everything they need in the paint and someone that they can depend on to score and defend.
Who knows, maybe the Kings would actually be able to make the playoffs for once by adding Myles Turner to their roster! At 25-years-old and under contract through the 2022-23 season, Turner would be the best trade target for the Sacramento Kings this offseason.
