Does this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
Once again, there seems to be a growing assumption that the Pacers are going to trade Myles Turner this offseason. In light of that, Indiana should accept the best offer they can receive, and it’s hard to argue that the Warriors can’t offer something that the Pacers are enticed by.
Being able to get a young center in Wiseman would be a remarkable start for Indiana. Though, it remains to be seen how a center like Wiseman would fit alongside Sabonis.

Along with Wiseman, Wiggins makes the deal worth doing due to him being 26 years old, and he would give them a viable option on the wing. Even though Paschall isn’t an exciting player included in the trade, he could possibly carve out a role as a versatile small-ball player off of the bench.
Depending on what the organization does with Malcolm Brogdon and Sabonis, the Pacers could field a lineup of Brogdon, Caris LeVert, Wiggins, Sabonis, and Wiseman.
The Pacers are stuck in an awkward spot with their current roster and changes need to be made if they want to alter their future outlook. A good start would be landing a young center in Wiseman, a still-developing Wiggins, and a solid role player in Paschall. There could definitely be teams that could offer more, but the inclusion of Wiseman might be enough to convince Indiana to go through with the trade.
