Golden State Warriors Receive: C Myles Turner, F T.J. Warren, and G Jeremy Lamb
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, and F Eric Paschall
Entering the 2021-2022 season, Myles Turner has two years remaining on his current contract, with him set to make $18 million per year. That isn’t too shabby for a center that can contribute on both ends of the floor like Turner can.
For the Warriors to fit Myles Turner onto their payroll, they would need to give up someone that is making a similar salary, which makes Andrew Wiggins the most likely candidate. Wiggins had a solid year with Golden State this season, recording 18.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while knocking down a career-high 38 percent of his three-point shots.

The part of this trade that would make the Warriors hesitate is having to part ways with Wiseman just one year after making him the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Wiseman showed flashes of potential before suffering a season-ending injury, but he’s still a raw player at the center position. Can Golden State afford to wait for him to develop while they field a win-now roster? In this scenario, the Warriors move Wiseman in favor of Turner, who is a more well-rounded player right now.
Besides Myles Turner, Golden State also gets T.J. Warren and Jeremy Lamb, giving them depth on the wing. If Warren is able to remain healthy following his season-ending injury, the Warriors would get a solid starter at small forward to replace Wiggins. Lamb would be a decent bench contributor in a backcourt that has been inconsistent behind Curry.
The other piece going from the Warriors to the Pacers is Eric Paschall, who fell out of the rotation due to the emergence of Juan Toscano-Anderson. The deal could also involve draft picks on either side, depending on how each team values the players involved.
