Does this trade make sense for the Memphis Grizzlies?
The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to complete their rebuild and move toward contending. They finally took that step toward the postseason this year and now it is time to move even further up the standings. Memphis could be looking to add some players that can help them right away and are not projects. Myles Turner fits that bill.

If the Grizzlies pull the trigger and move Jonas Valanciunas, they will need a replacement down low. Turner is a good one. He led the league in blocks per game this season and is improving on the offensive end of the floor. He can extend to the mid-range a bit which helps with spacing.
Turner’s claim to fame is on the defensive end where he is an elite rim protector. He would bring the toughness needed to compete with the other bigs in the Western Conference. Along with Turner, Warren and Holiday can provide some scoring depth, whether off the bench or in the starting lineup.
Memphis needs to put the right pieces around Morant moving forward. This is one deal that could give them some intriguing pieces to help them come next year and hopefully the postseason.
