Does this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
The Indiana Pacers could look to shake things up in the frontcourt and become more perimeter oriented alongside Domantas Sabonis. Jaren Jackson Jr. has taken great strides during his time in the league and is looking like the real deal. Indiana has thrown some big-name players in NBA trade rumors and this deal could be one that helps them send some away.

Myles Turner is likely to be at the top of the list if the Pacers want to make a splash. He is making $17 million a year, which is not bad when looking at the player he is, but it is still money that could be spent elsewhere. Jackson Jr. would become a centerpiece in Indiana following this trade along with Sabonis and Caris LeVert.
This team might not be set up to win now so it would make sense to add younger players that could help the rebuild. Jackson Jr. would be able to create an elite frontcourt with Sabonis given his ability to shoot at a high volume from beyond the arc while also being an agile defender.
The Pacers will do what it takes to get back to where they want to be but it might take some time. They are a well-run organization and that should give some hope moving forward.
