Dallas Mavericks

Talk about a team looking to make some moves this offseason, the Mavericks are at the top of the list. Kristaps Porzingis has been named in a ton of rumors already and seems likely to be on the move. If the Mavericks were interested in Tyler Herro, they could center a package around Porzingis, who would fit nicely alongside Bam Adebayo with the Heat.

Herro would be a perfect back-court running mate with Luka Doncic. Dallas is rumored to be interested in finding another guard who can create and take pressure off of Doncic. There is no doubt that Herro could be that guy.

Mark Cuban has always loved making the big splash when he can and this would be another splash. Herro has received more hype than he has actually been able to prove on the court, but that hype comes from his talent and potential. He has the potential to become a true star in the NBA.

If the Heat didn’t want to accept a deal involving just Porzingis, the Mavericks could throw in guard Jalen Brunson. Miami would be getting back a player in Brunson who could help fill the bench role that would be created by trading Herro. That would be a package that Riley and Miami would have a hard time turning down.

Dallas is going to get involved in quite a few different discussions this offseason. They should take a look at trading for Herro, depending on the price tag.
