Tyler Herro
The Miami Heat are unquestionably going to be one of the most aggressive teams this offseason. Following an impressive trip to the NBA Finals last season, the Heat were eliminated rather quickly by the Milwaukee Bucks in four games in the first round of this year’s playoffs. Aside from Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, Miami is in desperate need of some firepower on the offensive end.

When James Harden requested a trade last offseason, the Heat were mentioned in NBA trade rumors as a team that could pursue him, with Tyler Herro being a possible trade piece involved. Miami would end up losing out on Harden as he was sent to the Brooklyn Nets.
As for Tyler Herro, the second-year shooting guard was wildly inconsistent, causing some to question whether or not his performance in the bubble was a fluke.
With the Heat limited in future assets, Herro is a name that will be thrown around in trade discussions if Pat Riley is looking to acquire a star this summer.
Despite the flack he’s caught this season, Tyler Herro is still 21 years old and, at the very least, he’s shown that he can evolve into a formidable sixth-man in the NBA. There are going to be a handful of teams inquiring about Herro’s availability during the offseason.
