In just under two minutes into the third quarter, the Nets went on a 7-0 run to take the lead and then halfway through the third quarter, they went on another 15-4 run to extend their lead even further.
Good defense or not, the Nets still have three of the best superstars of the NBA and when they get going, they are virtually impossible to stop. If you double-team one of them, somebody will be left open and if all of Brooklyn’s stars are covered, Joe Harris, a 47.5% three-point shooter is left open.
When the shots are falling for this team, they are close to impossible to stop, which is why Brooklun has a really good chance to sweep this series against the Celtics. Durant, Irving and Harden just get to their spots with ease on the court and with other key options to turn to, the Nets offense is as good as we have seen over the years.
