Boston Celtics do not have anybody that can guard Kevin Durant
We talked about it in our Celtics-Nets preview article before this series began, but in Game 1 on Saturday night, it was very clear to see that the Celtics do not have an answer on how to guard Kevin Durant.

Jayson Tatum drew the assignment on Durant most of the game, but he still scored 32 points on 10-25 shooting. Tatum did have some success guarding KD in the first-half, but when he drew a switch onto someone like Tirstan Thompson or Evan Fournier, he blew right past them to the rim with ease.
In general, when he is healthy, Kevin Durant is virtually impossible to stop, but come time for the playoffs, he kicks it into another gear and he just dominates the games he plays in. He did so when he was with the Thunder, he did so in Golden State and now with Brooklyn, we can expect the same narrative for Durant.
Jayson Tatum is not that bad of an on-ball defender and has gotten better as a two-way player this season, but he, like many others in this league, cannot stop Kevin Durant. Not only does he look extremely motivated right now, but KD looks locked-in and unless he is double/triple-teamed, there will be no stopping Kevin Durant in this series.
