Jayson Tatum averages 30+ PPG for the series
I think it is time to start calling Jayson Tatum one of the best offensive players in the entire league because during the second-half of the 2020-21 NBA season, he has grown into an NBA superstar right before our eyes! Every time Tatum shoots, it looks like the ball is going to go in and he has been on an absolute tear over the last few months.

In their play-in game against Washington, Tatum scored 50 points for the third time this season, unofficially tying him with Stephen Curry for the Most 50+ point games this year. The crazy thing about this for Tatum though is that all of his 50- point performances have come since the start of April.
Every year that Jayson Tatum has been in the league on the Celtics, he has been getting better and better as a pure scoring option and now this season, he set a new career-high in scoring with his 26.4 PPG average during the regular season.
Since the start of May, Tatum is averaging 29.5 PPG and is shooting 41.7% from three-point range. With Jaylen Brown out for the season due to a torn ligament in his left wrist, we can expect this kind of production to continue for Jayson Tatum, even in a tough first-round matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.
