Boston will have no answer for stopping Kevin Durant
Not only will Boston have their hands full with trying to stop Kyrie Irving and James Harden, but they really do not have anybody that they can put on Kevin Durant to try and neutralize him! Jayson Tatum will likely draw this assignment, but Durant in the playoffs is as good as any player in NBA history.

Over the course of his now 13 year playing career, Kevin Durant has averaged 27.0 PPG over the course of his career during the regular season, but he has averaged 29.1 PPG during the playoffs. Durant currently ranks 4th on the NBA’s Career Playoff Leaders for Points per Game, trailing just Michael Jordan (33.5 PPG), Allen Iverson (29.7 PPG) and Jerry West (29.1 PPG).
Known as being one of the most lethal scorers in NBA history, Durant has been on-fire since returning from injury, as he has averaged 24.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists and has shot 52.3% from the floor, 37.8% from three-point range since the start of May.
With James Harden and Kyrie Irving also healthy and on the court next to Durant, Brooklyn is going to be almost impossible for Boston to stop, especially given how well KD has been playing. Expect the 11x All-Star to dominate in this series, especially if Tatum is covering him every possession.
