Bradley Beal’s hamstring is a major concern for Washington
On May 8 against the Indiana Pacers, Bradley Beal scored 50 points in an overtime thriller, but at the end of regulation in that game, Beal seemed to tweak his left hamstring and has not been the same since. The All-Star shooting guard sat out three games following this game against the Pacers before returning to action for the Wizards’ final two regular season games, but in those two games and then in Tuesday’s play-in game against Boston, Beal looked hurt.

Throughout the game against the Celtics, Bradley Beal kept grabbing at his left hamstring and was constantly stretching it out during timeouts. It is very clear that he is not at 100% right now for the Wizards and would likely be sitting out if this was the middle of the regular season.
As a result, their chances of advancing past the Indiana Pacers on Thursday is in major jeopardy, especially if Bradley Beal is not 100% ready to go for that game. In two games against the Pacers this season, he averaged 38.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and shot 54.5% from the floor, 33.3% from three-point range.
Assuming that his hamstring is not going to heal itself overnight, the Wizards are likely to lose out on some of this scoring production from Beal, which could be detrimental to their potential success and potential to move on in the playoffs.
