Boston is going to get swept 4-0 by the Brooklyn Nets

At the end of the day, the Boston Celtics have been a very up-and-down team all season long and while Jayson Tatum has been playing the best basketball of his career, they are not going to be able to put up a fight against the Brooklyn Nets.

With Jaylen Brown, maybe they would be able to win a game against Brooklyn, but with just Tatum and Walker being the Celtics two primary scorers, they will not have enough firepower to even win a single game against Brooklyn in this series!

Jayson Tatum scored 50 of the Celtics’ total 118 points against the Wizards. That’s a little over 42% of their total points for the game and if you combine his 50 points with Kemba Walker’s 29 points, that’s 66.9% of their total scoring output for the game!

The Boston Celtics are a two-man basketball team without Jaylen Brown on the court and as a result, they have virtually no chance against the Brooklyn Nets, especially if Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden are all out there on the court for Brooklyn.

Sure, Marcus Smart and Evan Fournier aren’t always going to have nights like they did against the Wizards, failing to score more than 7 and 8 points respectively, but Jayson Tatum also is not going to go for 50 points every single night… so we think! Brooklyn was the second-highest scoring team during the regular season and they were without Durant, Irving and Harden all at different points during the season!

Boston had struggled significantly at times this season scoring the ball and against one of the most talented offensive teams in the league in the Nets, things do not look good in terms of the Celtics finding much success in this series. Brooklyn should definitely be able to coast to a 4-0 sweep against the Celtics, sending Tatum and co. to Cancun for the summer!
