Russell Westbrook bounces back and continues to dominate the Pacers
Against the Boston Celtics Tuesday night, Russell Westbrook did not play terribly, as he went for 20 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists, but given the dominant performances he has had over the last month or so, this was a “down game” for him.
Westbrook has had the Pacers’ number all season long, which is why he is going to not only bounce back in this battle for the 8-seed game, but he is going to have yet another video-game-like performance against Indiana.

In three games against the Pacers this season, Russell Westbrook averaged 27.3 points, 18.0 rebounds and 20.0 assists. It is okay if you have to rub your eyes or clean your glasses off because I can assure you, these are real numbers!
Westbrook has had some of the best triple-double performances in NBA history against the Indiana Pacers this season and as a result, he could wind up having a 20-20-20 game against them, which would be the third ever 20-20-20 game in NBA history, as Wilt Chamberlain did so in 1968 and Westbrook did so in 2019 against the Lakers.
The Pacers will be without Caris LeVert, Malcolm Brogdon is healing from a hamstring injury and the Wizards’ own Bradley Beal is banged up from hamstring injury, which is why Westbrook is primed to have an incredible performance Thursday night.
