Russell Westbrook – Washington Wizards
Mr. Triple-Double himself has helped take the Wizards from last-place in the NBA earlier in the season to the play-in tournament and on the brink of being named the 7-seed in the East. During the second-half of the season, the Wizards have been one of the hottest teams in the league, even though their roster is not that impressive.
Outside of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, the Wizards do not possess much high-level talent that can be relied upon to score when it matters most, but they are still finding ways to win games and extend their season.

Recently, Westbrook passed Oscar Robertson on the NBA’s All-Time Triple-Doubles list and given how dominant he has been to close out the regular season, expect Russ to do everything he can to keep the Wizards season alive.
In his last 10 games, Russell Westbrook is averaging 25.2 points, 13.6 rebounds, 15.6 assists, 1.6 steals and is shooting roughly 45.5% from the floor in about 39.8 minutes per game. He has recorded a triple-double in 24 of his last 29 games and has been one of the most dominant players in the entire league since the All-Star break.
Russell Westbrook is going to continue to be dominant as the Wizards take on the Celtics in the play-in tournament, but he has not been overly impressive against Boston this year. In 3 games against the Celtics this season, Westbrook averaged 16.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.6 assists.
Washington is going to need Russell Westbrook to have a big game and a triple-double in order for them to get past the Boston Celtics and solidify their spot as the 7-seed in the Eastern Conference.
