Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers were one of the teams rumored to be interested in going after Kyle Lowry at the NBA trade deadline, but it seems like most of these NBA trade rumors were more talk than an actual deal possibly being in the works. While it is definitely a long-shot given their lack of assets and their current salaries, the Clippers could pull off a shocking sign-and-trade for Kyle Lowry in the offseason.

Right now, the Clippers have one of the best records in the league and will be considered one of the favorites to win the championship this year, but if Los Angeles comes up short of their goals once again, they will be looking to make a big move in the offseason.

Should this team fail to make the Western Conference Finals yet again, the Clippers will look to bring in a third, star-level player, which is exactly why Kyle Lowry makes sense for them. Not only do they need a point guard, but they need someone who can energize this team on both ends of the court.

For years now, Kyle Lowry has been known to be one of the better floor generals in the league, yet it always seems like he is a guy that nobody ever seems to talk about. His style of play fits perfectly with that of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, which is why forming this All-Star trio could definitely be appealing to the Clippers management.

This move would likely force them to part ways with guys like Patrick Beverley, Luke Kennard and possibly Ivica Zubac, but adding Kyle Lowry to this Clippers roster definitely gives them their best chance to win a title, especially in a loaded Western Conference where talent is key.
